EZ Mini-Barn Assembly Instructions

Step 1

The EZ Mini-Barn comes in two large plastic halves. One half has vent holes for manufacturing of the product, and one half does not. The two halves are trimmed so that they will only go together one way. Place the two halves upside down on the roof on a flat surface. Using the two black steel staps provided, sandwich the roof seem and drill 5/16" holes using the steel straps as a template. Bolt roof seem together using ten (10) 5/16" x 1 1/2" hex bolts and nuts.
Vise grips used to clasp the two havles in place (see Figure B).

Step 2

Clamp rear wall together using vise grips. Back should overlap about 3" (check with measuremnt from corner to corner - 92") - Figure C. Where center back overlaps, drill 5/16" holes. Begin in the center 2 holes then 3 holes below center and 3 holes above, spaced out. Bolt back wall together with eight (8) 5/16" x 1" step head bolts. It is recommended that you drill one hole at a time, bolting as you go.

Step 3

Turn EZ Mini-Barn over to upright position. Then slide a 4" x 4" x 8' (or larger) runner under each side wall. Secure each runner with four (4) 5/16" x 2 1/2" lag screws and four (4) 5/16" washers. Pressure treated wood is recommended. See Figure D.

Step 4

Mount doorway support arches in front of EZ Mini-Barn using two (2) 5/16" x 1 1/2" hex head bolts at the top and one (1) 5/16" x 2 1/2" lag screws at the bottom of the steel arch to attach to the wood runner (see Figure E).

Step 5

Install one (1) 2" x 4" x 100" board on back of EZ Mini-Barn where the 4" x 4" are sticking out. Fasten with four (4) 1/4" x 4" lag screws and 1/4" washers. On the inside of back wall of barn, fasten the plastic to the 2" x 4" using four (4) 1/4" x 1 1/2" lag screws and 1/4" washers. See Figure F.

Step 6

Using the vent provided as a pattern, mark the openings on the rear wall of EZ Mini-Barn. Cut the vent holes with a 5" hole saw or saber saw. Fasten vents with two (2) 5/16" x 1" step head bolts and fender washers and nuts. See Figure F.

Step 7

Install front stabilizer chain by drilling 1/2" holes in front of wood runner. Insert 3/8" x 5" eye bolts at the end of the chain. See Figure A.
